Question from the prospective client: Once I leave employment how easy will it be to get an entrepreneurs visa on the back of the company?
Although I think it’s best to get contracts first and then set up a business on the back of decent business depending on the costs to set up.
Generally how long will it take?
The timeline to get an entrepreneurs visa on a company are as follows.
1) once the company is setup you need to apply for Immigration/Establishment Card for the company and it takes 5 days
2) Once you get Immigration/Establishment Card for the company we will then issue a visa permit which takes 3 days
3) Once visa permit is issued then we need to do your medicals and emirates id application (1 day 2 hrs)
4) Once medicals and emirates id application is done we need to submit your passport for Visa stamping
Visa stamping takes 5 days
To become eligible for entrepreneur visa one must first register a company. This takes about 5 workdays in a free zone. Later on the company must be made eligible to issue visa to its owners and employees by taking an immigration card from the authorities in free zone – about 10 work days. The Visa steps subsequently – getting entry permit, getting medical fitness report and finally getting the visa stamped will take about 3 weeks.
